Panama City Beach Dining at Angelo’s Steak Pit
Before you hit the golf course or after you’ve enjoyed some time of family fun, grab a bite to eat at one of the nearby restaurants such as Angelo’s Steak Pit. Angelo’s is a Panama City Beach Mainstay – so much so, in fact, that they claim, “If you don’t eat at Angelo’s Steak Pit, nobody will ever believe you vacationed on Panama City Beach!” Be sure to set aside some time for a feast at Angelo’s, known for getting the perfect sear on each cut. Start your meal off with a cup or bowl of their thick New England clam chowder. All of Angelo’s steaks are USDA choice corn fed steer steaks and are cooked over an open hickory pit. Go all out with the T-bone steak or opt for the more conservation portion of sirloin. Either way, steaks are cooked to perfection and include a side of baked potato or fries, steamed vegetables or green beans, and soup or salad.
Fresh seafood options and chicken entrees are also available, as well as kids’ menu that includes options to make both parents and kids happy, such as shrimp and ribs. Save room for dessert, such as a slice of Angelo’s Famous Angel Pie. Wine is available by the bottle or by the glass, including dessert and aperitif wines. If you want to take a taste of Angelo’s home with you, they even offer seasons and sauces that are bottled and ready to be used from the comfort of your own kitchen. Angelo’s serves dinner 7 days per week beginning at 4:30pm. They can be reached at 850-234-2531 with any questions although they do not typically take reservations. And best of all, they’ll be reopening March 22nd.
